FY 2019 CoC Project Application Priority Ranking Results

Thank you to all the organizations who submitted project applications to the Anchorage Continuum of Care (CoC). Below is the final priority ranking of projects.

This year we received 14 renewal applications and 1 new application.  The new application is for a combination of DV Bonus and CoC Bonus funding.  The CoC’s Ranking and Review Committee used HUD’s Project Rating and Ranking Tool to rank all applications.  Projects were ranked on overall project scores and placed in two Tiers.

HUD Releases CoC Notice of Funding Availability

On Wednesday, July 3, 2019, HUD released the FY19 CoC Notice of Funding Available (NOFA) (available here).  ACEH encourages all interested applicants to read the NOFA to determine eligibility and changes from prior years.  The collaborative application and detailed instructions are not yet available.

Collaborative Application Meetings

Once again ACEH will be establishing weekly CoC check-in meetings on Monday afternoons throughout the application process.  Some meetings may be cancelled if there are no updates or critical needs, to allow everyone time to focus on developing application content.

  • First Meeting: Monday, July 22nd- This meeting will focus on the local project application.  Specifically, the meeting will be used to provide an overview of the CoC application process and timeline.  This meeting will be geared towards new project and first-time renewals grantees, however all current and prospective grantees are encouraged to attend and participate.
  • Second Meeting: Monday, July 29th- This meeting will focus on the FY19 collaborative application, including identifying any significant changes from years prior and confirming assignments for this year.  We will send out the full collaborative application with detailed instructions ahead of the meeting (via this listserv), assuming HUD has released the application.
  • Invites for weekly Monday meetings will be sent out by End of Day, Friday July 5th.  Past meeting participants and current project grantees will automatically be included on the invite.  If you have not received an invitation and would like to be included please email Taylor at ACEH.
