There are countless ways to get involved!
The Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness is hiring for a new Coordinated Entry (CE) Manager. The CE Manager serves as primary lead orchestrator and coordinator of efforts to implement and manage the ongoing operations of the Anchorage Coordinated Entry System (CES) for those who experience homelessness. The Anchorage CES seeks to streamline services within the Homeless Responses System (HRS) for both those accessing and those providing services. CES is a community-wide, collaborative effort, led by ACEH/Anchorage Continuum of Care (CoC) as the coordinating entity for Anchorage. CES is designed and implemented to optimize the current network of homelessness services and housing resources by maximizing connectivity to resources. This is a management-level position. The CE Manager is not positioned to directly serve clients, but rather oversee staff who work at the client level.

Do It Yourself!
Many Anchorage community members want to know how they can better support our vulnerable neighbors. Here are some useful links to help those who are interested in supporting through small local efforts.
Project Homeless Connect
Project Homeless Connect is a one-day event in January to provide housing, services, and hospitality in a convenient one-stop model directly to people experiencing homelessness in Anchorage. It is a way to bring service providers, government agencies, and the general community together to address a problem that affects everyone. The goal is to move from simply managing homelessness towards really ending it.
Service Provider or Government Agency: Connect with Project Homeless Connect organizers and ensure your agency is represented at the event. Contact Carma Reed.
Private Sector: Project Homeless Connect is a great way to get your employees involved in a community event. If you provide a service that could be of benefit to individuals who experience homelessness (i.e. haircuts, clothing, food), we want to ensure your agency is represented. In addition, we accept donations. For more information, contact Alan Budahl.
General Community: Come out and volunteer! This event requires hundreds of volunteers. Contact Heidi Hill.
